Google’s email service Gmail is down currently. Several users across the world have reported that Gmail isn’t working. The main issue faced by users is the inability to attach files. Some users have also complained saying they are unable to send an email across. Certain Gmail users are able to send emails but not able to attach files. With Gmail’s worldwide outage at present, several users are troubled and greatly affected.
Acknowledging this issue Google released a statement that they are hoping to amend the issue as fast as possible. An update is expected with respect to the issue that is scheduled to occur by 8/20/20, 8:15 AM.
Apart from Gmail’s worldwide outage, several users have also reported that they are facing issues with other Google applications.
Some of the other Google applications which are not operating as usual as reported by users worldwide are;
- Google drive
- Google docs
- Google keep
- Google voice
According to Downdetector.com, more than 2000 Gmail problems were detected by 4.00 am UTC. The Google app status page has confirmed that there is a technical issue which has caused this worldwide outage of certain Google services
Google drive is also suffering the same outage as Gmail. Users have reported that they are unable to upload or download files on Google drive.
