Tom Cruise is an extreme daredevil. He is famous for performing exciting, high-risk stunts on his own. It’s become a tradition for fans to assume an over-the-top stunt from each one of his new films. These crazy dangerous tricks made news around the world by building his profession on death challenging stunts. There is no particular order, these are some of the craziest and scariest stunts done by Tom Cruise.
1. Hanging to plane outside
This stunt is done in Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation. In the movie, Ethan Hunt has to get inside the plane before it takes off, while Benji operating the controls to open one of the doors to let him inside. This stunt is real and Cruise did all of it.

2. Climbing to Burj Khalifa
In Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, the stunt is involved in the center of Burj Khalifa in Dubai. They actually shoot stunts while Cruise hanging from 2,722 feet above the ground.

3. Halo Jump ( Tom Cruise Stunts )
Halo jump stunt is done in Mission: Impossible – Fallout. This high-risk military maneuver requires an oxygen mask but since they didn’t want to cover the Cruse face during the stunt. So, they designed a prop that kept him alive and showed his face. Cruise had to keep acting during his fall from 25000 feet in the air until he opened his parachute only 2000 feet above the ground.

4. Missiles on the Bridge
This stunt is done in Mission: Impossible III. Directed by JJ Abrams, gave the series the modernize for Mission: Impossible III. However, the missile was CGI, Cruise actually ran full speed and got slammed into that car. He did it several times to assure excellence.

Tom Cruise is knocked unconscious and almost drowns. So, the stunt was dangerous. In order to ready for the underwater scene, Cruise undergoes broad training for holding his breath for a crazy six minutes to pull it off. The cruise was able to hold his breath for six minutes and remain conscious long enough to shoot the scene is unbelievable.

8. Helicopter Chase
In the stunts of Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Cruise takes control of a helicopter and goes on a high-speed chase that is filled with complicated and risky maneuvers in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Tom Cruise really flew the helicopter while remaining in character. The shots were long taken and filmed without special effects.

This stunt is from the second part of the Mission: Impossible franchise. Director John Woo and Tom Cruise wanted Cruise knife fight with co-star Dougray Scott to feel true and dangerous.
