While my interaction with Paul Newman was very limited (I only met him a couple of times) he could put people at ease, he was funny and very laid back. All my interaction with him came because of his interest in automobile racing. At one point I worked with a friend who was producing a film for him and I would tag along to shoot still photography.
On one occasion we were filming an interview with him and his team driver Danny Sulivan and despite the best efforts of the interviewer most of the interview ended up on the cutting room floor because it was too off-color to use.
